Meet the experienced and friendly doctors who make Optix EyeCare & Gallery a proud provider of vision care products and services in Dallas.


Dr. Linda Fain Hatton

Dr. Linda Fain Hatton was born and raised in Dallas Texas, and did her undergraduate work at Southern Methodist University, and the University of Oklahoma, earning a Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry.  She attended the University of Houston College of Optometry earning her Doctorate Degree in Optometry in 1989.  She completed Internships in Pediatrics, Glaucoma, and Surgical Management, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.

Dr. Hatton is Texas Board Certified in the Treatment of Eye Disease as a Glaucoma Specialist.   She has been an Adjunct Professor to the University of Houston for 12 years and served on the Board for Prevent Blindness Texas for 5 years.  Dr. Hatton has lectured at schools, businesses,  and on television concerning Glaucoma and Computer Related Vision Problems and their remedies. She was recently chosen to be the professional medical consultant for Bausch + Lomb in the launch of Ultra new contact lens technology

Honors/Memberships

Dr. Linda Fain Hatton is the CEO / President of Optix EyeCare & Gallery, a private eyecare practice located at the Highland Dallas near SMU.    Dr. Hatton specializes in Contact Lenses, Dry Eye Syndrome, and Computer Related Stress Syndrome. Her practice also focuses on Diabetes Eye health,  Pediatrics and Myopia Control, PRK and LASIK Vision Management.   Her goal is to provide the highest level of eyecare possible utilizing the best technology and eyecare products available.


Dr. Catherine Hall

Dr. Hall grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas. She began her undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Houston, College of Optometry in 1998, where she received 3 letters of clinical excellence. She does volunteer work with the Lion’s Club, Prevent Blindness America and Sight for Students. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association and North Texas Optometric Society. Dr. Hall also volunteers at her daughter’s elementary and as a Girl Scout Troop Leader in her spare time.

Dr. Nathan Dirks

Dr. Nathan Dirks is a certified Optometric Glaucoma Specialist and Therapeutic Optometrist. He specializes in dry eye therapy and contact lenses. Dr. Dirks is additionally certified in the treatment of eye infections, minor in-office surgery, and the detection of eye diseases related to diabetes, cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration.

Dr. Dirks is originally from Lincoln, Nebraska. He attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, majoring in Biological Sciences. Dr. Dirks received his Doctorate of Optometry in 2014 from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA.

In his free time he enjoys spending time outdoors, basketball, golf, cooking, and traveling. He also enjoys serving his community here in Dallas by volunteering at the North Dallas Food Bank and with the Salvation Army.
